“Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners.”
― Edward Abbey

Resources listed from beginner to advanced

Note: There are many forms of anarchism and this is by no means an exhaustive list. I am primarily an anarchx-communist and that is the focus of the following. It’s also a huge subject so I’ve just picked some of my favorites. If you know of a good resource list on any of the various anarchisms (queer, POC, feminist, green, etc) please email me and I’d love to include them. Side note: as capitalism is inherently hierarchical you cannot be both a capitalist and an anarchist, so the term “anarcho-capitalist” is a misnomer and not a legitimate type of anarchism.
